While working in Peru, I spent Sunday seeing seals, birds, sealions and waves in the beautiful tourist attraction known as Paracas.
"Candelero" - a formation said to have been created by the same mysterious people who create the Naxos Lines, visible only from high altitude. |
Me, unsuccessfully hoping to avoid sunburn near the equator. |

Rock formation known as "The Cathedral." There is an accessible cave underneath the arch.

Some of the zillion seals and birds on the small islands.

"The maternity" - zillions of seal pups recently born. Seals have an 11-month gestation - we were told - and each mom can only feed one pup.
Me, inside the cave. |
